A little about Robin
I've sat on the side of the table you're trying to reach.
For 35 years I worked in financial services: building teams, sitting at the leadership table, coaching talent, and deciding on promotions, including who wasn't quite ready (which then allowed me to coach them to achieve it). Having also spent time as a first-line supervisor in a regulated environment, my experience has allowed me to understand what actually moves the needle in both financial services and other industries, and how often good people hold themselves back without realising it.
"There's nothing wrong with you. In 35 years I never once met someone who lacked the ability. What they lacked was someone in their corner who believed it first."
So this is what I do now. No jargon, no ego, no lectures. Honest, practical conversations that leave you clearer, steadier and moving forward. You should come away from a session feeling like the best version of you is a lot closer than you thought.
I coach people from every background, and I've coached men and women who are making their way in their careers or into leadership. You'll find a calm, encouraging, judgement-free space here. Someone genuinely on your side.
I firmly believe in the connection between the physical, the mental and the spiritual, and the way I keep a strong balance is through exercise, specifically cycling, swimming and gym classes. I enjoy endurance challenges too. Some of these have included 'Everesting' a hill in Guildford, swimming the River Dart 10km and Bantham Swoosh 5km challenges, and completing the London Marathon My Way.
You'll see below links to six charities I have worked with and supported, and I've always had a very strong connection to giving back and looking out for others. You might say it's my true purpose. I've been fortunate enough to raise money through my endurance challenges for all of these, and each of them supports an area that resonates strongly with me.
